Alpha Index is an Associate Member of the Directory and Database Publishers Association.

The DPA, set up in 1970, to promote the interests of bona fide directory publishers represents the best in British database and directory publishing. The DPA symbol provides an assurance of editorial and commercial integrity.

Full members of the DPA are all publishers. They include some of the big names in national and international publishing: Yellow Pages, Reed Business Information, Dun & Bradstreet Ltd, The British Library, Emap Business Communications, Financial Times Business, Janes Information Group and Miller Freeman Information Services, Pearson Education, The Stationery Office, Thomson Directories etc.

Associate membership is for companies supplying services for directory and database publishers. A company seeking associate membership has to satisfy the DPA of its sound financial backing and have the support of member companies.
